what problem are you trying to solve?
why does it exist?
why did spend your time and effort creating it?

answer these questions for everything that you try to force down peoples throats, if the answers to the questions don't resonate with the receiver, then it's clearly not for them.

there is so much shit, crap, things, stuff, not needed nor wanted things in existance, imagine the time and effort to create all of that, image that time and effort put into things that do matter, that do help, that do joy.

about some 50 years ago the country i live in made it law that a fulltime workweek was 40hours. it had been reduced from some godforsaken much higher number over a long period of time.
the amount of people, the amount of things needed to sustain life for everyone increased, but the workhours decreased, how is this possible you might ask. increased efficiency, automation, industrialisation(for good and for worse).
the problem is that somewhere in these last 50 years, some people decided that having enough, was not enough. they wanted required more, from others, not themselves.

so for the last 50 years, efficiency in almost all fields have increased thousandfold, especially since electronic computing and the IT-boom, but for some reason, people are still slaving away 40 hours per week to just barely be able to pay for roof over their heads and food on their table.

shame.

do yourself and everyone else a favour and try to minimize your contribution to the endless machine of wants.
when and if you can:

do you really need 40 pairs of socks? i guess that some people are only able to do their laundry once every other month... kinda baffling, but that must be the reason right?
